Part 1 ： 逆向思维在雅思阅读判断题中的应用

例1：

( Cam 9 T 1 R2 is there anybody out there Q 21)

Alien civilizations may be able to help the human race overcome serious problems.

解题思路分析：

本题的考点在“ 能不能”上， 也就是回到原文中看外星文明（alien civilizations）能否帮助人类解决各种严重的问题(serious problems ).  但是在定位解题的时候需要切记的时候不能盲目的去找serious problems,而要提醒自己在原文中会读到具体的人类面临的问题们，诸如:  global warming , resources depletion,  widespread epidemics等等。 这个问题也是笔者在课堂上经常会谈及的要不断在练习过程进步自身审题时候的“心理预期”

顺着这个思路，在对应的段落倒数后两行找到 nuclear war , global pollution and other threats 这些题干中的“serious problems ”的具体展开， 并且所在句子中的:it is even possible that the older civilization may pass on the benefits of their experience in dealing with threats-- 表明外星文明可以传授它们在处理严重问题的经验给人类。题干中的表述和这点相一致, 所以本题应该是TRUE

例2

（剑10 T 3 R1 the context, meaning and scope of tourism  ）

1. Two main features of the travel and tourism industry makes its economic significance difficult to ascertain.

解题思路分析：

这道题目的考点词在difficult to ascertain ( ascertain v 核实 

算是雅思阅读中的*词汇了）上，那么two main features of travel and tourism 和

economic significance 就可以选作定位词里，关键点在于 two main features of

travel and tourism 在原文里很有可能呈现出现的是具体的两个特征，来看原文:

对应具体句子如下：

However, the major problems of the travel and tourism industry that have hidden, or obscured, its economic impact （定语）are the diversity and fragmentation of the industry itself.

这句话里可以看出遮掩(hidden or obscured )旅游业经济方面重要性的是两个问题， *个问题是 the diversity of the industry , 第二个问题是the fragmentation of the industry 。 所以本题应该填TRUE

（ Cam 9 T4 R1 the life and work of Marie Curie Q8)

Marie and Pierre Curie’s research into radioactivity of the mineral known as

  led to the discovery of two new elements.

解题思路如下：

本题首先需要填一个具体的矿物质名称， 对这种矿物质的放射性（ radioactivity）的研究导致了发现了两种元素。 那么在回到原文中定位解题的时候， 需要注意的是题干中的two elements 在原文中很有可能出现的是以 a and b , a or b , a as well as b , not only a but also b 这几种结构出现的具体元素

对应原文：

在倒数第三行出现polonium 和radium 这两种被发现的具体元素， 那么应该顺势往前找看出现的具体元素是哪个， 在前两行 pitchblende, a mineral whose radioactivity.... 那么答案需填pitchblende

In paragraph E, the writer suggests that some museum exhibits A fail to match visitors expectation

思路分析：

这个题便利的一点是题干中已经明确指出了是在E段，但是需要明确的并不能直接去原文段落里面去找some museum exhibits， 而是要提醒自己，在原文段落里面很有可能出现的具体的museum exhibits
